If you watch anything on HGTV, you know that garage doors aren't just for garages anymore. Lately, those high-tech garage door keypads and garage door openers open up everything from kitchens to living rooms and make the beautiful outdoors more accessible to indoor living space. Here's how a few homeowners show how you can put a garage door in nearly every room in your home.
In your kitchen.
In your dining room.
In your living room.
In your den.
On your patio.
In your man cave (or mama den).
We realize that our Siouxland and Yankton climate (and insects) may not always make a garage door in a living space seem like a great idea. However, even if you only open the garage doors a few days out of the year, you'll still benefit from the design, light, and unobstructed view they will provide while closed.
(We tried to find a garage door that was installed in bathroom or a bedroom, but have been unsuccessful. If you find one, post it in the comments below!).
