Garage Organization: New Year’s Edition

Posted by Overhead Door of Sioux City and Yankton | Jan 2, 2015 10:00:00 AM

It's 2015! Start it off organized.

If you are like us--and the rest of Sioux City and Yankton--the New Year is more than just remembering to change the year when you are paying bills and filling out forms. It's the chance for a new fresh start or a renewed commitment to health, happiness, and home organization. Not necessarily in that order.

To kick off the New Year properly, we've written a series of blogs geared toward all of our Siouxland residents who have to park in their driveway because their garages are too full to use them as they were intended. We could tell you garage organization is important because it's really cold outside, and no one likes to scrape windows at 6am. We could tell you that we're trying to save you from trip hazards and from having to lug grocery bags an extra 20 feet. We could tell you how much we want your car to last you, how keeping a car in a climate controlled garage extends its life and function.

But we'd be lying.

We don't necessarily do this altruistically. If the truth must be told, it's because we're just so darn proud of our garage doors and parking your cars and trucks in front of them blocks the view of what we consider to be your home's best asset. Those garage doors were built to be enjoyed in full and from every angle. And this is just hard to do with your vehicle in the way.

So, now that you know our motivations, let's kick of 2015 with the best intentions and advice. We don't want you left asking yourself, "How do I organize my garage?" We have the answer.

Let's get your garage organized so your garage door can be the beacon of stunning Siouxland home ownership it was meant to be.
