What Your Garage Door Colors Say About You.

Ever wonder what the color of your garage door says about you? As people who work with a variety doors and clients, here's our take on the subject. Does your hue ring true for you?

Red Garage Doors

If your home has a red garage door, you probably don't mind catching some good attention (we're a little partial to red ourselves). Red is bold, brave, daring, and adventurous. Homeowners with red garage doors don't mind getting lost every once in a while, but that may be because they are fairly certain they'll always be able to find their way home.

 Yellow Garage Doors

Rare is the homeowner with a yellow garage door, but when you find one, they typically possess a friendly, outgoing attitude with a little bit of mischief. After all, you have to be a little bit of a rebel to challenge the sun. Yellow garage doors can coax smiles out of even the grumpiest of neighbors, and chances are their homeowners can, too. You don't have to go this bold to share your shine, even as it looks amazing here.

Green Garage Doors

Homeowners with green garage doors have an earthy quality about them. There is something about green that is very soothing, and not only to the people who choose to color their world with it. It's not uncommon for folks with green garage doors to also have green houses, instead of having their garage doors pop from the facade, they choose to blend them in, just as their homes blend in with the natural landscape. Does this mean the people who live in garage doors are as equally camouflaged? No. But there is a certain amount of respect for the environment and design that is worth noting.

Blue Garage Doors

As the world's favorite color, blue is a great choice for homeowners and garage doors alike. The color of freedom, peace, and hope, blue is the perfect color to come home to. Homeowners who relate to this color may also have its calming properties. Also, since there is a shade of blue that can go with almost anything, you may also find that people with blue garage doors are usually easy to get along with.

White Garage Doors

Ah, classic white. This one is a bit of an enigma as we could describe homeowners who prefer white doors in two ways: exceptionally traditional or not quite ready to show their true colors on the outside. If you have a white garage door, don't let anyone convince you it is boring; on the contrary, having a white door lets the colors around it have their chance to shine. And bringing out the beauty in others is a beautiful thing in itself.
